Only The Strongest Survive.
St. George was settled by some of the toughest people on earth. They were women and men who broke their plows on the hard desert clay, endured droughts and floods and were scalded in their own sweat. They were tempered and forged in the hot St. George sun. Through their faith, perseverance and unity they became unstoppable. They were not just strong. They were St. George Strong. We are their legacy. Their strength of community lives on through us and we all have some of their grit in our veins.
Welcome To The Desert
There is a strength, serenity and energy in the desert. Our forefathers came to build and founded St. George in 1862. We come to play and pay homage to their legacy of strength & endurance. St. George Strong is an ode to all those who are strong enough to come and push their limits in under the rays of the desert sun. We've been St. George Strong since 1862.
The Rock Cairn
Southern Utah's trails and hills are dotted with rock cairns. For ages, the rock cairn has stood as a symbol of direction and destination. Here at St. George Strong, it means much more. Rock cairns are not built by governments and organizations but by individuals; trail blazers that found their way and left a marker for the weary but hopeful travelers that came behind them. The cairn is a symbol of individual accountability to leave the world a better place. It's a symbol of reaching back and lifting up someone in need even though you may never meet them on this life's journey. This is the strength that St. George was founded on. It's part of our community today.
